Congratulations to for Molly and Eric! They tied the knot at the Dr. Daniel Fisher House & Gardens in Edgartown last October and have officially become personal heroes because they know how to make a rainy wedding day fun. Anyone planning a wedding on Martha’s Vineyard knows there’s always a risk for inclement weather. Plan Bs are created, alternate photo locations discussed, and fingers are crossed. What happens if it rains on your wedding day? Considering that the weather is a big wedding day item you can’t control, it’s best to maintain a positive outlook and leave some creative options on the table. That’s exactly what they did.

Molly and Eric didn't let a little drizzle or umbrellas dampen their spirits. Their ceremony was beautiful and the most unique I've had in some time.

Aubrey Maria Designs did a fabulous job with the wedding flowers and tablescapes designs, all buttoned up by the wonderful V. Jaime Hamlin & Sons catering staff. Everything looked amazing underneath Big Sky’s Sperry Pole Tent.

As you can see below the rain and drizzle did eventually stop and the sun even made an appearance - right around sunset - but not before we were able to find some sheltered spots for photos around the wedding venue. Thank you, Molly and Eric, for trusting me that it is possible to make magical rainy day wedding photos and staying so calm and in-the-moment. You both are inspiring.
