Sophie and Blair’s Martha’s Vineyard wedding was a picturesque blend of coastal romance and timeless charm. Their intimate elopement unfolded at Edgartown Lighthouse, where a gentle sea breeze set the stage for their beachfront vows. As their photographer, I had the privilege of not only capturing their day but also helping coordinate the logistics to ensure a seamless experience. From timing the ceremony with the perfect golden light to arranging the breathtaking evening sail, every detail was designed to reflect their love story. Using drone photography and video, I documented stunning aerial perspectives of the couple on the bow of Phoenix, framed by the expanse of the Vineyard Sound.

 

Following the ceremony, Sophie and Blair set sail aboard Phoenix, a breathtaking 44-foot Classic Islander sailboat captained by Wendy of Sail The Vineyard, for a Vineyard Sound sunset cruise, where they toasted to their new life together. Their sailboat wedding reception was filled with laughter, the gentle clinking of champagne glasses, and the soothing rhythm of waves, creating an unforgettable celebration upon the sea—a moment forever etched in golden light and ocean air.
